As I lay dead, I saw Guruji–and returned to life

I came to Bade Mandir seven years ago and began to frequent that holy place to relax and have prasad. In 2019, from nowhere at all, a YouTube satsang landed on my phone and I listened to it. I felt an instant connection with Guruji and loved Him from my soul. I had Guruji's darshan in my dreams and also went to Empire Estate. Soon, Guruji also bestowed sewa on me at Bade Mandir.

Three years later, I was riding my motorcycle in Gurgaon one day when I crashed. I had serious head and spinal injuries that put me on the operating table for two brain operations and a spinal surgery. There was water in my lungs and I was put on a ventilator, spending 20 days in hospital. In the hospital Guruji held me in His own hands, protecting me as if I was a precious flower.

I am not sure how the accident happened. As I was brought into the hospital, I can recall lying down on the bed, unable to move or speak, blurrily seeing nurses talking. They were saying that the breath was about to go out of my body; I wanted to call out for oxygen. Then, I took three–four breaths and died.

I dreamt of Guruji as I lay dead. I was standing with my wife and "Blessings always, Guruji" was written somewhere. One man was holding his new-born baby and talking about Guruji. And then I was back in the land of the living.

Guruji's grace continued as I struggled with health problems–perhaps as a consequence of accidental injuries.

The previous year, cerebrospinal fluid would leak from my brain to the nose. An MRI was done, and the neurologist found a gap in the tissues. I could only be healed via an operation, the doctor asserted. But the previous month I went to Bade Mandir, had langar prasad and the problem was gone. Such is Guruji's magnificent, omnipotent grace!

Guruji again came to my rescue when I was having difficulty breathing for at least a week. I'd gasp for air and be able to take in breath only after a minute or so; this would happen at least twice a day. "Ghabrahat bechani hoti hai" (anxiety and restlessness) is how I'd refer to the problem. Before I could consult a doctor or take any medicine, I had Guruji's divine darshan in a dream. He was checking my heart with a stethoscope. He spoke the same words, "Ghabrahat bechani hoti hai?" And my breathing problem just went away.

Jai Guruji!
