Guruji will do it

A devotee, February 2022
I am a mother of two children, both daughters, and was troubled about not having given birth to a boy. I often wondered why God had not blessed me with an infant boy and would get depressed. There were other domestic issues as well. I came to know about Guruji in February 2017 from a colleague in my office at Hauz Khas. She was a devotee and I had asked her about Guruji and Bade Mandir. She invited me to accompany her when she went, but requested me not to talk in the office about the visit. The reason was that I was a follower of Asaram Bapu and went to his ashram regularly to engage in sewa. He had been put behind bars, and I faced much ridicule.

Both of us went to the Mandir on a Monday, via the Metro and then by an auto. My colleague told me the basic rules for devotees: Switch off the mobile, and finish all the prasad you get. At the Mandir, I had darshan of Guruji's samadhi and His kutiya. But we couldn't enter the main hall, which was closed owing to preparations for the upcoming Shivratri function. I had to satisfy myself with the darshan of Guruji's gaddi in the portico of the main hall, which were filled with the sounds of soothing shabads. We must have sat for ten minutes or so and then proceeded for chai prasad along with matthi prasad. We partook of the prasad below an open tent. My friend emphasized again that I should eat the prasad fully and not take it home.

I began to listen to the shabads daily while commuting to office. Gradually, my negative thoughts were replaced by a stirring positive affirmation: Guruji appe karenge. My Guruji will do what has to be done Himself. I found myself getting fascinated by Guruji's Mandir and wanted to go again, to see the main hall. I requested my friend, who said she was busy but told me that I could take the Metro and go to the Mandir. Now I am a shy woman who does not typically take independent decisions. But the Mandir was pulling me to itself.

Since I commute to the office by Metro, I wanted to first go to Mandir for darshan and then to office. With Guruji's grace, my boss allowed me to come late. So on the first Monday of March, I went to Bade Mandir. That day I got a chance to enter the hall. It was beautiful. Guruji's smile in His swaroop and the awesome silence at the Mandir drew me in deeply.

I sat in the hall for a few minutes and closed my eyes. Soon I was crying. I talked to Guruji mentally about my daughters and all my family problems. Sewadars gently told the sangat to move ahead for prasad: That day I got samosa and chai prasad at the langar hall. I sat eating and looking at Guruji's swaroops, all the time talking to Him. Guruji's swaroop in a red-and-black chola mesmerized me. He looked like the ruler of the universe, a shehanshah. My heart filled with love for Guruji, and again I had tears in my eyes.

I returned to office, thinking that there must be some link between Guruji and me. I continued going to Guruji's temple every first Monday of the month before going to attend office. At home, family disturbances with my mother-in-law suddenly sorted themselves out. I got so much peace at the Mandir that the atmosphere at home too turned peaceful. It was Guruji's grace that made it possible. His grace made me come to His Mandir, made me search and listen to His shabads and satsangs, and keeps me to Him. My experience is that Guruji is the sole answer to all my problems.

Another Monday at the Mandir, I noticed devotees queuing up for Guruji's swaroop. I asked for a pocket swaroop since I could not risk putting up a big swaroop at home. I had not yet told anyone at home about my visits. The next time I took a medium-sized swaroop of Guruji attired in a white chola and hung it up on the board of my office desk. Friends and colleagues asked me about Him, and I told them that He is my Guruji who has granted me peace and the solution to all my problems.

Getting my younger sister married in the midst of cancer

I am the third of four sisters in the family. My parents were sounding out proposals for my younger sister's marriage, but not finding a suitable boy. Either they could not see good financial prospects for the suitors or the family background was not to their liking. Meanwhile, people began remarking that my sister would have to adjust to whatever came her way. My parents were very tense, and I told my mother that I would take sister to Guruji's Mandir. He listens to everything, I promised her. My sister came with me one day and I prayed for her marriage.

In the midst of all this, my mother was found to have a lump in her breast that turned out to be cancer. The doctor diagnosed that the disease was at the first stage and could be cured. But my parents' anxiety spiked.

Guruji intervened in the form of a calendar that a neighbour brought to my mother's house. It was hung behind a door; and a fortnight later, my parents received a proposal they liked. The groom-to-be lived not more than 15 minutes from our home and had good prospects. His family agreed to come to our house, which is quite small, and assented to the marriage. I told my parents that Guruji had blessed us via His swaroops in the calendar and answered our prayer to get sister married. I thanked Guruji a lot.

We did not disclose that my mother was suffering to the boy's family and just fervently prayed to Guruji that everything go well. With His grace, my sister got engaged on May 2019, and the marriage was fixed for November of that year.

Meanwhile, mother's chemotherapy started. In September 2019 my mother got high fever which would not come down. She was admitted to ICU, where the doctor said she needed a blood transfusion, as chemo had made her lose blood. She was in low spirits when I met her and worrying about sister's marriage. "Kaise hoga?" she wondered, and I told her to have faith: Guruji would make everything all right. I gave her a small pocket swaroop of Guruji in a yellow chola, to put under her pillow. That very day her condition became better, and she was shifted out of the ICU.

A friend told me to take a copper lota and get it blessed at Bade Mandir for my mother. I did so and gave my mom the lota. The lota is filled with water at night; half of which is drunk first thing in the morning and the rest used for bathing. She drank the sanctified water for some days, and her health bettered. With Guruji's blessings, my mother's chemotherapy got completed in time for her to manage my sister's marriage. The wedding was a joyful affair and the rites went smoothly.

A week later, mother went for an MRI and the doctor suggested surgery of the breast. That too was successful. It was only then that we told my sister's mother-in-law about mom's cancer. Her only reaction was to say that she would get better.

My mom's suffering took another form. Her knees began giving her much difficulty and pain and both needed to be operated upon. Doctors ordered a variety of tests done and then gave the go-ahead for the operation. The operation was successful. Thanks to Guruji's blessings, my mother was cured not only of her knees and sundry ailments, but also of cancer.

Guruji listens to every prayer of mine. I prayed to Guruji for my younger daughter's admission to a school which I wanted her in. It was near my home. He made it easy and my daughter got admission.

I love going to Guruji's Bade Mandir. It is a divine Mandir, where nothing is impossible. It is Heaven on Earth. May Guruji keep blessing His sangat.
