In year 2015, I had severe chest pains that had me in and out of hospital for a couple of months. I then visited a cardiologist, who ran some tests. These showed my front right artery had a major block and the cardiologist called me up. He recommended I have an angioplasty the following day. My husband, Manish, was on his way to the airport for a business trip when the call came. I filled him in between sobs. Manish cancelled his trip. It was December 9

I have three young kids and thinking about them stressed me out. The next day I skipped going to the hospital. Very soon I heard from the
sangat. It was Sita Aunty of our
Guru parivar, who has been like a godmother to me in LA. I have often found her replying to my doubts and problems with messages, even when I have not spoken to her about them. As expected, she had texted me saying that she was getting a weird feeling that something was not well with me. When I told her, she said she would pray for me.
The following day, Dec 11, when I was supposed to go for the surgery, Manish told me to call home and talk to my mom and dad. Knowing how tense they'd get, I hadn't informed them. When I called, Mummy got very worried. The doctor had told me that it would be a major surgery and I would have to stay in the hospital for three to four days. While I was talking to Mummy, Sita Aunty texted me again: Guruji had given her
darshan in her prayer and told her that He would be going with me to the OT. Guruji told her that everything was going to be fine and I would be returning home from hospital that very day. Reading Aunty's text gave me relief, and I went into the OT, surrendering myself to Guruji.
As he did a pre-operation angiogram, my doctor couldn't find the major blockage. No further medical care was required! As Guruji would have it, when the nurse was taking me to the recovery room, I read the number on its door—7. I blurted out, "
Bas mere Guruji mere saath hain. Nothing can ever happen to me." True to Sita Aunty's divinely channelled words, I was discharged the same day.
I was home in time for our wedding anniversary, which fell on Dec 12. Thanks to Guruji, I was able to celebrate my anniversary with my husband and children. The doctor has still not figured out what happened. But I know it is all due to my beloved Guruji and His grace. A thousand thank-yous are insufficient to show our gratitude to Guruji.
