I got to know about Guruji in January 2013 when my mother was invited for a
satsang in our neighbourhood. She felt immense peace during the satsang. As the satsang got over, everyone was given Guruji's
swaroop, and my mother requested and received another one for me. At that time, I had problems conceiving and had already gone for IVF three times without success. The swaroops were a big blessing for all of us.
My mother then visited Bade Mandir and felt fully blessed, telling me that being there was an out-of-the-world experience. On the night of her visit, she dreamt of Guruji, who was in the same swaroop as she had seen at the Mandir. She also saw a blue-coloured bib in front of her eyes. My mother now took me to Bade Mandir. It felt absolutely magical and peaceful there, and tears came out of my eyes throughout the
darshan.
Soon, with Guruji's grace I conceived. During my eighth month, I went for a regular scan in the morning and then on to work. My scan was normal. I had been extremely tired since the morning, and by lunch time, at work I began bleeding and called my doctor. She was out, travelling to Rampur by car and asked me to quickly go to the hospital. I kept praying to Guruji all along. At the hospital, I was advised a Caesarean section. My doctor, who was six hours away from Delhi, asked the staff to wait for her as she cancelled her trip and drove back.
Hours later we were blessed with a baby boy. As my son was premature, he was kept in the neonatal intensive care unit. He was discharged after five days, and we went home. It was all Guruji's grace.
Guruji blessed us many times. My father was diagnosed with cancer in August 2016. Guruji kept him strong and blessed us with faith that he undergo treatment that consisted of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation. Before the surgery, we all went to Bade Mandir and had
langar prasad. My father could barely eat, and it was impossible for him to eat anything spicy. Yet, with Guruji's blessings, he ate his share of langar without problem.
Everything went very smoothly with Guruji's blessings and care. Things started getting better, but after two years, he had a relapse. The treatment began again; I was in the US. In the first week of May, a doctor in the family suggested that my brother arrange to come by father's bedside as the prognosis wasn't good. Thanks to Guruji's divine timing, the doctor gave us the bad news on the day the first batch of Vande Bharat flights were announced. My brother could reach Delhi. After quarantine, he was able to spend one week at home.
Meanwhile, I went through a sinking feeling every day that deepened steadily as the month's end came near. I read about Guruji's Mahasamadhi and felt unhappy with myself for not remembering such an important day (although I do not forget dates). An inner voice told me that those who leave this world on May 31 are very blessed.
True to the soul's voice, my father passed away on June 1. I got a call at 11:45 pm (US time) informing me of my father's demise. I cried and cried, but heard Guruji saying, "
Time dekh, teri 31 May hi hai."
Due to the pandemic, I haven't been able to go home since. Sometimes there's a lot of frustration and an unsettled feeling as I have not been there. But Guruji's blessings keep me going. Jai Guruji!
