Guruji has made me a calmer person and annihilated my doubts and negative thoughts. Guruji has taught me that one should never lose hope in life and always keep patience.
I am writing down this
satsang because Guruji told me to. It so happened that I had been unwell for two days with a fever, and was worried. I began listening to a satsang and prayed to Guruji to protect me. He accepted my prayer, but also told me to share my satsang. I am shy and introverted and keep secrets, but I had to obey Guruji.
My first encounter with Guruji occurred in 2012 when I went to Bade Mandir with my mom. I used to go to temples and prayed to all gods, so I undertook the trip—we are from Mumbai—as another temple visit and did not expect much.
A long time later, I again visited Bade Mandir and gazed at Guruji's
swaroop for nearly 10 minutes. I felt a movement in my heart. I didn't know what that was, but I folded my hands and made a small request. I felt Guruji smiling at me, but my heart was not open to respond because I was after all still only following my mother's word in going to Guruji.
When I came back to my hometown, I was nervous. My bachelor's exam was coming up again. I had not passed the first time around and had become depressed. My mom insisted I visit the Bade Mandir. So I went there, prayed to Guruji with all my heart and took
chai and
samosa prasad. After two and a half weeks, my result came. I had passed with Guruji's grace.
Armed with a new degree, I hoped to become a school teacher. A job was important to me as it would validate all the hard work mom had done for me. I sent my résumé out and then left the matter to Guruji. I was astonished to find a mail inviting me to an interview with a school. My mom went with me, too. Many candidates, around 15, had gathered there for the post, and I felt I had no chance. I closed my eyes and asked Guruji to do it for me.
I gave a written test before the interview. The school peon called out name after name for the interview with the school director and principal. But I wasn't called, making my mom and me nervous. I chanted for five minutes—and my name was shouted out! The interviewers found my written test and my educational background impressive. I was asked to wait outside while the authorities deliberated. I felt hopeless and urged mom that we leave the school, but she insistently wanted to know all that had happened. Suddenly one person came out and told me that I had to join the school the following month.
My prayers had been answered! My mom and I were ecstatic. This incident ripened my faith in Guruji.
Because of Guruji, I am living a comfortable and good life and I pray to Guruji to continue showering His divine blessings on me. Thank you, Guruji, for making life beautiful. Guruji is my father, my teacher, my guide. He is everything. Never lose faith in Guruji. O my beloved Guruji, always keep us under your
sharan. May I always have your name with me. Bless everybody. Jai Guruji!
