From His Birthday Guruji's blessings flow into mine

Rohan Aggarwal, January 2020
I came to know about Guruji on His birthday in year 2013. I got the auspicious opportunity of doing sewa on that occasion. Eleven days later, I had my birthday. For celebrations in school, I bought six loaves of marble cake. A friend whom I had confided in about Guruji, asked me if I had bought six cakes. I asked him how he had come to know, since I hadn't told anybody about it and he said: "Guruji keh rahe hain." I got goosebumps. During break time, he got a Cadbury dairy milk chocolate for me and when I asked why, he replied that Guruji was telling him to get my "muh meetha". I established an instant connection with Guruji.

After my birthday, my friend gave me pocket-sized swaroops. Some were inscribed with Light of Divinity: Search begins here. I used to bow down to these images and would get darshan on their obverse side of Guruji's face, trishul or Aum. These visions strengthened my connection with Guruji.

Four years later, I was in Phuket with my parents to celebrate my 18th birthday. The day after my birthday, on 25th July, we were to tour Phi Phi Island. In the morning, while boarding our mini bus, I whimsically thought that the bus should only have Indian passengers. To my astonishment, all the people who boarded the bus were Indians.

Half way into the outing, we were going towards the island when a lady, Aanchal Kakkar, asked me about Guruji. I was amazed that in Phuket, in the middle of the sea, a lady whom I had met for the first time in the morning, was talking about Guruji. I immediately thanked Guruji for His presence and making my day special.

High grace marks in all exams

Guruji's presence and blessings were flowing through me when I gave my board exams for class XII, in March 2017. The subject that scared me most was Political Science. I skipped studying two or three chapters related to Indian political science, because they were tough. One day before the exam, I left everything on Guruji. On exam day, questions came from these chapters, and I attempted them nervously, trying to elaborate the answer on the basis of the topics I had read.

I had told Mummy that I would not get a good score in the subject. But I scored the highest marks in Political Science—91. I scored 89 in English, 86 in History, 88 in Geography and 80 in Legal Studies. My highest gratitude to Guruji.

A year later, Guruji again showered His grace upon me. I was studying in Australia; my annual university exams were due in December. A month before, my paternal uncle's wedding took place. I went home and enjoyed the festivities, neglecting my studies for the term. I thought I would return to Australia and catch up with my studies.

In Australia, I realized that one of the papers for the term was on Accounts, a subject I had no affinity with as it was math-based. I had not studied math after Class X. The day I rejoined classes, the lecturer revealed questions that were to come for the accounts paper. Lecturers of other subjects too told the entire class about the questions. That made everything easy. In Australia, university teachers do hint at what might come in the exam and flag what is important, but nobody goes so far as to reveal the questions outright. However, that's what happened, and I cleared my exams with high distinction.

These memorable experiences show how much Guruji loves His sangat and takes care of each and every thing. I thank Guruji for all that He has given me and for this amazing life. I humbly bow down at His lotus feet. I will never want to leave Him. You are my Guru, my mother, my father, my everything. I love you most, Guruji.
