In year 2020, the coronavirus gave us stressful moments. My brother and our domestic help tested Covid positive. The help had been cooking and serving food at home; my parents who are above 65 years old were at high risk.
Guruji's grace intervened in the form of a
prasad that my sister asked me to make. She had been given the recipe by another devotee in the US, who had been blessed with it by Guruji. I quickly prepared the prasad while chanting Guruji's
mahamantra, and my family ate the prasad with full faith. When the reports came, everyone was in the clear. Even the doctor was happily surprised.
Guruji's grace had manifested itself a year earlier for me. I wanted to go to Guruji's Mandir when we travelled to India, but knew my husband wasn't interested. I still hoped I could stay back and visit Dugri. But I did not voice my wish. One day my husband told me that he had a vision. In a dream, he got a gold-and-red wedding card, which said his wife's application to visit Dugri had been approved and we could visit. Our India trip was finalized within two weeks!
Guruji's plan was terrific. We went to the Dugri Mandir in August 2019, where we sat right before His
durbar for three and a half hours. We then visited the Jalandhar temple. That was fortuitous, because the next month it was announced that the Jalandhar Mandir would close on the day the Dugri Mandir opens.
As the
shabad has it,
Guru Guru Guru kar man mor / Guru bina main nahi hor. We all need to have complete faith in our Guru and believe that with His blessings and presence around us, we are protected like a baby in a mother's womb.
