Guruji thwarts black magic

Shelja Chopra, May 2024
I have been in Australia since the last 13 years and came to know of Guruji through one of His devotees–to whom I am ever thankful–only last year in August 2023. I combed social media to get to know about Him and downloaded a swaroop of His through the internet. Very soon, Guruji blessed me with His healing. I could not digest any food and, occasionally, I could not even digest liquids. But I drank Guruji's jal prasad on the advice of the sangat and was much better. I was also able to drink chai prasad.

Guruji affirmed that He was blessing me. I daily offer tea in a glass covered with a steel bowl in front of Guruji's swaroop. After some time, when I pick up that glass, there is steam inside the bowl–and when it condenses, it tastes like amrit! I experience these blessings of His all the time.

Guruji Maharaj also blessed my 16-year-old son, who had lost his appetite. When my husband took him to the doctor, a blood test was done. I was anxious that it could be a big problem. However, when the test results came out after three days, my son only had a minor vitamin and iron deficiency.

I keep playing shabads and doing mantra jap in my home, since Guruji has revealed to me that black magic has been used against my family–for a long time. Guruji has told me that He is negating the black magic slowly. He has made me throw out a lot of things (such as red threads, sindoor, old chunaris and damaged photos) from my house. At His command, I have written Om Namah Shivaya with yellow sandal paste on windows and doors. This is a bulwark against any negativity.

I observe Navratras every year. This year, Guruji told me that He would give me His darshan on ashtami (the eighth day of the nine-day observance). Along with the others, I went on that day to do kanjak or kanya poojan (devotional worship of maiden girls) at the local temple, as it is exceedingly difficult to do so domestically in this country. At the temple, a little girl who was sitting with her mother came up to me and hugged me. Her mother put her on my lap. I didn't realise it at the moment, but Guruji had come to affectionately meet me in the form of a young girl, or kumari.

Guruji had also asked me to offer a chola to the Divine Mother. On Saptami (the 7th day of Navratra), I offered a pink dress at the Durga Mandir here. I was also blessed to do sewa in the temple on that day. I attended a satsang that day and felt in my heart that I should offer a pink flower to Guruji. At the satsang, I found that the chola Guruji was wearing was of the same colour that I had offered to the Mother. Of course the flower too matched the chola and the entire sangat was delighted with this divine concordance.

With His blessings two satsangs are regularly done near my house and I can attend them. Guruji has been with us since lifetimes, and He keeps giving me His blessings in one form or the other. My life has changed for the better since connecting with Guruji. It is still full of struggles–but my way of looking at them has changed. I can only thank Him from the bottom of my heart.
