The ground fell from beneath our feet when my wife Leena was to be operated upon for a gynaecological problem. During pre-operative tests a chest X-ray showed abnormalities. The surgeon advised a CT scan, which showed a lump. A PT scan and a biopsy were ordered and they confirmed our worst fears: My wife had cancer.
My sister's son-in-law Dr. Tanuj Chawla is an oncologist, and he found us the best lung surgeon in Mumbai. We were in Kolkata and luckily that surgeon was coming here for a conference. The surgeon was confident the tumour could be removed easily and that my wife could be cured of cancer after the operation. We decided to go for surgery immediately. But fate had something else in store. A mandatory MRI found two tiny tumours in her brain. We were shattered.
Doctors now changed their approach. They wanted to start my wife on radiation, and then begin her chemotherapy.
My wife has a friend, Shoma
bhabhi, who had always asked Leena to join in Guruji's
satsangs. Leena had excused herself because she was not interested. The day she started her chemo regime of a tablet a day, Shoma bhabhi called her. She was extremely persuasive about attending Guruji's satsang. I told my wife that we had no choice but to seek God's blessing for her well-being and that she should attend the satsang.
I did not go, but she did, had His
prasad and came back home with a positive mind-set. She told me about the happenings at the satsang, recounting it nearly every day. Leena also made me hear Guruji's
shukrana bhajan. I am a music lover and liked the rendition a lot, but did not attach any significance to it.
My wife could cope with the daily tablet of chemo. In fact, she showed no side effects and seemed as normal as possible. Soon she was invited to and attended another satsang. She was anxious about how she would eat prasad because she had ulcers in her mouth. To her surprise, when she sat down for
langar, she was given half a plate of the prasad.
As she coped with the treatment, the surgery kept being postponed. On March 2020, a final decision was made to get the surgery done in April.
But before that, around the time of Maha Shivratri, I had a dream. I saw that bhabhi had come to my house with a photograph of Guruji, and we all had gathered in my drawing room for His satsang. I told Leena about my dream. She was amazed that I had a vision. After all, I had not attended Guruji's satsang ever.
A few days later, the country went into lockdown. I listened to Guruji's shukrana bhajan every day. One by one the family joined in, and it came to be like a family satsang. Daily
jal prasad and
bhog were offered to Guruji, which we later had as His blessings. By the grace of Guruji, we all began feeling very positive. We also bought a very beautiful
swaroop of Guruji and placed it in our
Thakur Ghar.
Soon Leena's surgery was again postponed, and with Guruji's blessings everything is under control. We are confident that with Guruji's blessings she will be healed and lead a normal life. We find that Guruji is with us at our home and have faith that He will take care of us come what may.

A blissful and blessed visit to Bade Mandir
My wife, daughter and I live in Kolkata. At our home we host a satsang every Saturday and sit before Guruji's seat till His
jyot remains alight. After one such satsang, my younger daughter suddenly wished to visit the Bade Mandir, and I assented. Since my wife was not well, she opted out. We planned to take the morning flight from Kolkata to Delhi and go to the Mandir directly from the airport, returning the same evening. With the divine blessings of Guruji, the program was finalized for Monday, 19
th December.
We reached the Mandir as planned. We expected a huge rush but with Guruji's grace we reached the gates of the Mandir smoothly, all thanks to the
sevadars who were managing everything so well. We saw
sangat sitting outside the main hall and assumed they must have been specially cleared to be there. The next thing we knew we were guided to sit at that spot; we could gaze directly at Guruji's
gaddi in the mesmerizing hall. We know how Guruji listens to His devotees and fulfills their wishes and wanted to sit there, cherishing everything, the entire day but knew that devotees were waiting their turn.
So we moved through the main hall and had
chai prasad. I asked for an extra bottle of jal prasad for my wife and, with Guruji's grace, got it. We left the Mandir content and happy that Guruji had given us a chance to sit near Him.
As we waited for the shuttle to take us outside, we saw that Guruji's swaroop was being distributed. My daughter asked for one and got it. I requested a sewadar to give me the three-faced swaroop of Guruji, which I wanted to have during our satsangs. My ardent wish was quickly granted. Our joy knew no bounds, and we had tears in our eyes at Guruji's outpouring of divine grace. We did not know how to thank Guruji. It felt like Guruji was coming with us to our home Himself. It is true: "
Manngo nahi, Manno" and you will get more than you ask for.
Guruji's mantra jaap averts heart surgery
Sometime ago, we had decided to do a Ganpati
puja at our home. The night before the puja, I felt very uneasy and breathless. I took an antacid tablet and a shot of my inhaler and began doing Guruji's
mantra jaap. Somehow the night went by. The following day my daughter and granddaughter came over from Lucknow for two days for the puja. I got busy with the preparations, ignoring the feeling of uneasiness and attributing it to exertion.
After the puja was concluded, I went with my wife to see a doctor, who got an electrocardiogram (ECG) done. The ECG results were unsatisfactory, and I was immediately referred to a cardiologist, who in turn got blood tests done along with an echocardiography. With Guruji's grace, all the results were normal. The doctor now wanted a Computed Tomography Angiography (CT Angio). I went through that along with other prescribed tests the following day. Since it was a Saturday, we had to wait till Monday for the results.
The CT report on Monday was shocking: My left artery was fully blocked and there was 90% blockage inside the heart. I began doing Guruji's mantra jaap. The doctor advised immediate bypass surgery, and scheduled it for Tuesday morning.
As the hospital admission procedure began, I surrendered to Guruji's will and constantly did mantra jaap in my heart. My wife and I stood in a queue before the admissions desk. Hardly 10 minutes had gone by, when we got a phone call. The CT Angio department had found some issues with the report, and I had to return there along with the report. I sent my wife with the report and stayed put in the admission queue. My wife called to say that I no longer needed to be admitted.
I went to the CT desk. Now the report showed that the blockage was completely gone! It turned out that the hospital had by mistake given us somebody else's report. We went to the cardiologist and he gave us the all-clear. We had been continuously thanking Guruji for His grace. Soon I was put on normal medicines and allowed to go back home. Jai Guruji!
We had only read or heard in
satsangs about Guruji's medical miracles, where investigative reports got altered for the better. This incident showed us that Guruji can do anything. Thank you, Guruji!

IVF succeeds and then nature
My elder daughter had been married for six years but could not conceive. Medical tests proved the couple had medical issues. A natural pregnancy was ruled out and doctors were unsure that IVF would be successful. But my daughter was adamant to have a baby and proceeded with the IVF. As fate would have it, the corona epidemic struck the world and the treatment had to be put on hold.
Around this time, we had just begun our journey with Guruji Maharaj. With utmost faith and belief we prayed to Guruji to bless her. A devotee from Hyderabad arranged for Guruji's
sachkhand prasad from another devotee in Delhi and the couple had it. Finally, the IVF procedure was started in July 2020. The family went through a lot of ups and downs as the treatment continued. At a certain point of time, it seemed the IVF would have to be discontinued and the pregnancy terminated. But with Guruji's blessings and despite a lot of suffering, my daughter was blessed with a healthy baby girl in March of 2021.

Three years hence, our thoughts strayed to the couple having a second child and completing their family, but since the IVF had been a hard journey, a second round was not advisable.
Guruji has His own plans and with His blessings a miracle happened. My daughter conceived naturally! We have no words to express our happiness and cannot thank Guruji enough for another amazing gift. We pray to Guruji to keep us under His lotus feet always. Jai Guruji!
